Organic mountain was formed as a label in 2004 by Peter Barton and Cliff Stocker to launch the Animals and friends album "Instinct". Since then the label has signed several other prolific artists ranging from the amazing young singer songwriter Sam Hird, to the amazing guitarist Jerry Donahue.
Over the next few months you will be able to see the OMP catologue emerge as one of Europes most prestigious new lables.

Live in Denmark part I

A live concert recorded in Copenhagen, Denmark at the prestigious Portalen theatre in the spring of 2004. This set comprices of some of the massive hits originally recorded back in the early sixties by John Steel and the Animals. This live peformance still captures the exitement of the songs and the wealth of musicianship in the band today.
The album still retains two of the original line-up that toured Scandinavia in the spring of 1965, John Steel and Mick Gallagher along with original Titanic guitarist John Williamson and ex Mindbender bass player/ vocalist Peter Barton.

Live in England 2004

In 2004 Animals and friends performed a selection of shows around England celebrating forty years of The Animals. The tour also featured several special guests including Chip Hawkes from The Tremeloes, Mick Avory from The Kinks and Eric Haydock from The Hollies. This album is a live concert from that tour with several bonus tracks from the friends.

Sam has got to be one of the freshest singer/songwriter artists to emerge from this side of the 60's. Influenced by Nick Drake, Ralph McTell, John Martin and Jeff Buckley. His songs cry out.
